Today we continue with the second part of our SMB network management series: the router boot process and various management methods. The content covers two aspects: one is the router startup, which of course includes the boot process, router components, and IOS-related operations; the second is an introduction to several methods for managing Cisco devices.

Let’s first look at the router boot process. Actually, a router, just like a computer, has a power-on startup process. If you want to understand the router boot process, you must first understand the internal components of a router. Let’s take a look.
